NBS is very proud to have 4 honorees in the 2010 Writer’s Eye competition, sponsored by the UVa Museum of Art. In the prose category for 3rd – 5th grade, Arlo Bloom received an Honorable Mention, Nathan Vance received 3rd place, and Eleanor Hawkes received 2nd place. In the poetry category for adults, Katrien Vance received 2nd place. Congratulations to all!
The Writer’s Eye competition offers writers the chance to tour the UVa Museum and choose a piece of artwork about which to write one piece of prose or poetry. Winners will be honored at a ceremony in the spring.
