Last year, North Branch earned $264 in box tops. We hope to earn more this year. There’s a contest going on until October 31st with a grand prize of 500,000 box tops. This would mean $50,000 for the school! You can enter every day – it’s free, but you do need to register at the site. The floors are sanded and polished, the new building is almost complete, Cleo has moved back into her office and the field is mowed and ready for action. Many people have been working overtime getting things ready for the 2009-2010 school year.

There’s a spiffy new stone path that leads from the new building to the old, and the interior looks beautiful. Solatubes provide each room with lots of natural light and there is a sweeping view of the woods from the back. The Seniors and Middle School students should have an exciting start to the new year in their big, bright new space!
